Invited Guest lecture on development of a dairy biorefinery

Dr. John Morrissey is a Senior Lecturer in Microbiology at University College Cork (UCC) and a leading expert in yeast biotechnology. In 2024, he established the SUSFERM Fermentation Science Research Centre, focusing on sustainable bioprocesses. He serves as Editor-in-Chief of FEMS Yeast Research and directs the MSc in Industrial Biotechnology and Bio manufacturing.
