Dr. Reddy’s Institute of Life Sciences (DRILS) hosted the 2nd Edition of CPI2025, a premier Conference cum Workshop on Continuous Process Intensification, from September 11-13, 2025, at the Aryabhatta Auditorium on the University of Hyderabad Campus in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. The event brought together leading experts from academia, industry, and research institutions to advance sustainable chemical manufacturing through flow chemistry and related enabling technologies.
The three-day program featured insightful plenary lectures, tutorials, workshops, and technology exhibitions. Highlights included Prof. Oliver Kappe’s (University of Graz, Austria) talk on sustainable API manufacturing, Prof. Anil Kumar’s (IIT Bombay) tutorial on process intensification paradigms, and Dr. David Cantillo’s (University of Queensland, Australia) session on green electrochemical synthesis in flow reactors. Other notable speakers from organizations like Aurigene Pharmaceuticals, Anthem Biosciences, Laurus Labs, Syngenta, and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories shared case studies on multiphasic reactions, air oxidation, mechanochemistry, and hydrodynamics-driven reactor design.
Attendees benefited from hands-on workshops, such as Dr. Mike Kenny’s (AM Technologies, UK) demonstration on slurry handling in Coflore flow reactors, alongside networking sessions and facility tours at the FCT Hub. The event also showcased exhibitors including H.E.L Group, Corning Technologies, and Evonik, fostering academia-industry collaborations.
With over 20 sessions emphasizing safety, scalability, and green innovations, CPI2025 reinforced DRILS’s commitment to promoting next greener solutions and processes.
